“Couldn’t be happier with my experience! Quick hassle free & really lovely lads who went over and above to help. Was getting my kitchen fitted and needed a plumber to fit new sink asap. Once in my home turned out the lad that came to my job with plumber was gas engineer who was able to do my cooker at the same time. They then organised an electrician for the following day to do my cooker and lights. Ryan is so professional and easy to work with, nothing is a problem, exactly what you want and need when having work done in your home. Blown away with the service thank you again guys⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

Your Local Plumber

Your Local Plumber in Edinburgh

It was a Sunday morning in January when Ryan got a call about a burst pipe in Morningside — two other plumbers hadn't called back. He was there in twenty minutes. That's the whole reason McInally's exists: not enough Edinburgh plumbers who actually pick up the phone.

We Know Edinburgh's Old Buildings

Cast iron drains, shared soil stacks in converted flats, lead pipes still hiding behind Georgian walls — we've seen it, fixed it, and know what to look for before it becomes a bigger job.

Boiler Supplier

We supply and fit boilers from Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal and Baxi — sized properly for your home, with a fixed price before we touch anything. Most installs are done in a day.

Central Heating Service

Many older Edinburgh homes still run gravity-fed systems from decades ago. Radiators that never quite warm up or pressure that keeps dropping is usually sludge or a tired pump — a proper flush sorts most of it.

Kitchen Renovator

Sink plumbing, dishwasher and washing machine connections, tiling and worktops — all handled as one job with a fixed quote, whether it's a tenement flat or a new-build.

Bathroom Renovator

New suites, wet rooms, tiling and all the plumbing behind the walls. In Stockbridge and New Town we plan pipe runs carefully around original period features instead of ripping them out.

Radiator Repair Service

Cold radiators usually come down to sludge, an airlock, or a worn valve. Older gravity-fed systems need a different approach than modern sealed ones — it's a common thing other plumbers get wrong.
